School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Rock River, Wyoming

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid RN license
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Ability to respond effectively to health emergencies and provide care for chronic and acute conditions
• Compassionate communication style with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including medication administration, first aid, and management of acute and chronic illnesses
• Promote a healthy and safe learning environment for students and staff
• Conduct health screenings and contribute to the development of care plans for students with specific needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and allied health professionals to support student well-being
• Maintain accurate health records, participate in health education initiatives, and support compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations
