School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Round Lake, Illinois

This role is exclusively onsite, providing essential healthcare support directly to students and staff. You’ll play a vital part in daily health management, triage, and emergency care within a bustling elementary school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure required
• Previous experience in school nursing or similar pediatric settings
• Demonstrated ability to handle urgent situations calmly and effectively
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience supporting children in a school environment preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly and multitask amid frequent interruptions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students and staff during school hours
• Respond promptly to health emergencies, injuries, or unexpected incidents
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans and protocols as needed
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Liaise with school staff, families, and outside providers on student health issues
• Promote healthy practices and preventive care among students and staff
