Registered Nurse School Setting - Rushford, MN

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous nursing experience, ideally in schools or with children/adolescents
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow school health protocols
• Comfort working autonomously as well as part of a broader school team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including routine care and management of chronic conditions
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policy
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, coordinating with school staff and emergency services as needed
• Maintain and monitor health records, immunization data, and documentation
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with specific needs
• Educate students and staff on health topics, and promote wellness initiatives
• Serve as a vital resource in the school health office, supporting a safe and healthy learning environment
