Qualifications 

• Valid RN license in the state
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and emergency response skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities 

• Provide direct nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions
• Conduct health screenings and assist with immunization compliance
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate health records for all students
• Collaborate with school staff to develop health plans and respond to health-related emergencies
• Deliver health education to students and staff, promoting positive practices and awareness
• Serve as a resource to families on health concerns, referrals, and community resources
• Adhere to all state regulations and school policies, ensuring a safe environment
