Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license, valid in Missouri
• Previous experience in a school environment is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, especially with children and adolescents
• Capacity to handle urgent situations calmly and efficiently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies
• BLS/CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students and staff
• Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and implement individual health plans
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Conduct health screenings and assist with immunization programs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and outside healthcare providers to foster a healthy school environment
• Educate students and staff on wellness topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Respond promptly to injuries and illnesses, triaging as needed
• Ensure a safe clinic environment and maintain supplies
