A school-based registered nurse position is available for a K-12 educational setting in Saint Paul, MN. This role involves providing comprehensive healthcare services to students within the school environment, promoting their well-being and supporting their ability to learn.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting health assessments and screenings for students
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Managing acute and chronic health conditions
  • Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health plans
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential health records
  • Promoting health education and preventive care initiatives within the school community

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota
  • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
  • Knowledge of school health policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
