Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Experience delivering 1:1 nursing care, preferably in school or pediatric settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Confidence in responding calmly and efficiently to medical needs in a school environment
  • Ability to adapt to the developmental differences across elementary through high school grades

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care for assigned students, supporting individual healthcare plans
  • Administer medication, monitor chronic health conditions, and manage medical emergencies as needed
  • Act as a compassionate advocate, ensuring student comfort, dignity, and confidentiality
  • Liaise with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to promote wellness and safety
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate student health records in accordance with regulations
  • Support students’ participation in school activities by providing necessary medical interventions
