A school-based registered nurse (RN) is needed to provide dedicated 1:1 pediatric care for students across multiple grade levels, including 1st through 5th grade, as well as 9th and 10th grades. This contract position is located in Saint Paul, MN, and requires a compassionate and skilled nurse capable of supporting individual student health needs in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care tailored to pediatric students
  • Monitor and manage health plans for students requiring specialized medical attention
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
  • Educate students and staff on health-related topics and preventive care

Qualifications:

  • Active RN licensure
  • Experience in pediatric nursing, particularly 1:1 care in school environments
  • Ability to work with students ranging from 1st through 10th grade
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Capacity to handle medical equipment and administer medications as required
