Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience delivering 1:1 nursing care, preferably in school or pediatric settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Confidence in responding calmly and efficiently to medical needs in a school environment
- Ability to adapt to the developmental differences across elementary through high school grades
Responsibilities:
- Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care for assigned students, supporting individual healthcare plans
- Administer medication, monitor chronic health conditions, and manage medical emergencies as needed
- Act as a compassionate advocate, ensuring student comfort, dignity, and confidentiality
- Liaise with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to promote wellness and safety
- Document care provided and maintain accurate student health records in accordance with regulations
- Support students’ participation in school activities by providing necessary medical interventions
