School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Salem, New Hampshire

A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide specialized school nursing services for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role is based in Salem, NH, supporting a K-12 school setting. The position requires a skilled RN with school nursing experience, focused on delivering individual care to students with complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual nursing care to students with critical medical conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.
• Manage a middle school caseload, with possible assignments in other grade levels, demonstrating flexibility to accommodate varying needs.
• Administer critical care nursing skills as required by the student's health plan.
• Accompany students on the school bus during morning pickups and afternoon drop-offs to monitor their health status.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to implement and update student health care plans.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with proven experience in school nursing.
• Strong background in critical care and managing complex medical cases.
• Ability to adapt to different grade levels and diverse student needs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school personnel.
• Comfortable with early morning start times and willingness to ride the school bus to support student care.

Location: Salem, NH
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
Duration: Contract for the 2025-2026 school year
