Step into an essential role providing healthcare support to middle school students in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through June 17, 2027, with an onsite schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You’ll be the primary point of care for an entire middle school building—not a 1:1 assignment, but a critical, central resource for both routine and urgent student health needs.

What you bring:

• Active RN licensure in New Hampshire
• Department of Education School Nurse certification
• Proven experience in school nursing or a related healthcare setting
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative school environment
• Commitment to student well-being and confidentiality
• Willingness to complete district fingerprinting process prior to start
• Comfort with virtual interview processes (Zoom)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering comprehensive health services for students in a busy middle school environment
• Managing daily clinical tasks such as medication administration, first aid, and health screenings
• Acting as the go-to resource for student health concerns, staff inquiries, and parent communication
• Implementing health and safety protocols and providing education on wellness topics
• Maintaining thorough and accurate health records in accordance with policy
• Collaborating with school leadership and district staff to support health initiatives
