Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah (or compact state eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Strong assessment, clinical, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate with students, parents, and educational teams effectively
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Flexibility, adaptability, and compassion for working with diverse populations
• Comfortable working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency care to students in accordance with nursing protocols
• Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to student health needs
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Educate students and staff on health promotion, wellness, and disease prevention
• Participate in the development and implementation of student care plans
• Communicate proactively with families, staff, and school administrators
