Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California RN license (unencumbered)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience in a pediatric, school, or community health setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and make sound clinical decisions in a school environment
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage student health needs, administering medications and providing first aid as required
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions or special needs
• Serve as a resource on health matters, promoting wellness and health education in the school community
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with regulations and protocols
• Respond promptly to health emergencies, acting as an advocate for student safety and care
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support students’ physical and emotional well-being
