Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of California
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with health documentation and electronic records
- Ability to adapt within fast-paced, diverse school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care, including assessment, first aid, medication administration, and managing chronic health conditions
- Develop individualized health care and emergency plans for students with unique medical needs
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to promote a safe and inclusive school community
- Deliver health education and preventive care initiatives for students and staff
