Job Title: Full-Time School Nurse (LPN or RN) – 1:1 Student Support

Location: Sandwich, IL
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (School Hours)

About the Role

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a student in a school setting located in Sandwich, Illinois. This is a full-time, school-year position, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a student’s daily life while being part of a supportive and professional school community.

The nurse will deliver direct medical care, continuous monitoring, and ongoing support to ensure the student’s safety, comfort, and ability to fully participate in school activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one nursing care to an assigned student during the school day.

• Administer medications and perform treatments according to the student’s care plan.

• Monitor chronic or acute health conditions and respond promptly to emergencies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential health documentation and reporting.

• Communicate effectively with parents, healthcare providers, and school staff to coordinate care.

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and health-focused environment within the school setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN or RN license in the State of Illinois.

• CPR and First Aid certification required.

• Prior school nursing or pediatric experience strongly preferred.

• Excellent assessment, communication, and time-management skills.

• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently within a school team.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive weekly pay: $40 – $52 per hour (based on experience and license level).
