School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Sanger, California

A California-licensed Registered Nurse with a School Nurse Services Credential is needed to provide specialized nursing support within a K-12 school setting. This contract position involves covering for an RN during an absence and assisting with Initial IEPs at the preschool level. The role requires onsite presence and offers approximately 16 hours per week over two full days, ideal for candidates seeking a part-time school nursing role in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing coverage during the absence of the regular RN, ensuring continuity of care for students
• Assist with conducting Initial Individualized Education Program (IEP) assessments for preschool students
• Collaborate with school staff to support student health needs within the educational framework
• Maintain accurate health records and compliance with California school nursing policies
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment in compliance with state regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• California School Nurse Services Credential is required
