Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current and valid Credentialed School Nurse certification required
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric care environments strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response abilities
• Adaptable to multiple school sites with reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for medically complex students at ESY and general education students attending district-wide programs
• Administer medications, manage chronic health conditions, and support emergency care needs for all assigned students
• Create and implement individualized healthcare plans in coordination with educational staff and families
• Maintain clear documentation and accurate health records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Educate students and school staff on health and safety procedures as needed
• Serve as an approachable resource for health-related concerns within the school community

Assignment Details:

• ESY schedule: 7am–2pm on June 11, June 26, June 29, July 6, July 7, July 13, and July 14
• General Education schedule: 7am–2pm on July 20, July 24, July 27, and July 29
• Flexible placement across multiple sites, offering variety and unique learning experiences
