This travel role is tailored for RNs eager to experience diverse educational settings. You’ll sharpen your clinical skills and collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals whose approaches and leadership styles will enrich your own practice. With multiple school sites and a variety of student needs, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring student safety and wellness throughout ESY and general education summer sessions.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California
• Credentialed School Nurse certification required
• School-based nursing experience preferred
• Experience with medically complex pediatric populations is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to a medically complex caseload at ESY (Valencia High)
• Support general education students at multiple locations during summer programs
• Administer medications, create care plans, and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Fulfill scheduled shifts from 7am–2pm on specified program dates:
  • ESY: June 11, June 26, June 29, July 6, July 7, July 13, July 14
  • General Ed: July 20, July 24, July 27, July 29
