Registered Nurse School Setting - Saugerties, NY

Bring your expertise as a Registered Nurse to a rewarding school-based assignment, supporting elementary students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract opportunity offers a focused, consistent schedule—work from 8 AM to 11 AM each weekday—supporting young learners in a welcoming educational environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current RN license in New York State
• Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) preferred
• Prior experience as a legal nurse or in school health services highly valued
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities
• Experience supporting young children in a clinical or educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily nursing care and respond to student health needs
• Administer medications and manage care for children with acute and chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families regarding student health matters
• Assist with health screenings and provide basic first aid as needed
• Support student participation by monitoring for allergy or health-related concerns during the program
