A specialized nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in school health services, based in Seattle, WA. This role entails a unique blend of responsibilities across both preschool and high school settings, providing essential health support in an educational environment.

Position Details:

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Work Setting: Preschool health room and high school (Kent Meridian High School)
• Schedule: 32.5 hours per week
• Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health services in the preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays.
• Deliver dedicated one-on-one nursing support for students at Kent Meridian High School on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
• Monitor and manage the health needs of students, ensuring a safe and supportive school environment.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to address student health concerns and promote wellness.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington is required.
• Prior experience in one-on-one nursing care within a school or similar setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of school nursing practices and health regulations.
• Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents in diverse educational environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
