Registered Nurse School Setting - Sedro Woolley, WA

Working part-time as a .4 school nurse, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to enhance the learning environment and ensure students receive the medical attention they need.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Familiarity with student health records, IEP/504 processes, and state compliance guidelines is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments
• Monitor and manage students with chronic conditions, allergies, and special medical needs
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare and emergency plans for students
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Serve as a resource for health education and promote a safe, healthy school environment
• Liaise with parents, school personnel, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Respond promptly to on-site health emergencies
