Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or eligibility for licensure)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in school, pediatric, or community health nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
• Flexible, organized, and able to adapt to diverse situations and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessments, medication administration, and emergency response
• Collaborate with educators and parents to support students’ health plans
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with policies
• Deliver health education to staff and students as needed
• Ensure compliance with state and district regulations regarding healthcare provision
