What we’re seeking:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in health assessments, first aid, medication administration, and emergency response
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504s, and individualized health plans a plus

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including treatments and daily medication
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and sudden illness
• Maintain health records and documentation in compliance with school policies
• Support the management of chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma) for students
• Educate students, staff, and families on health and wellness practices
• Collaborate with administration, educators, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Monitor campus environments for health and safety concerns
