Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active RN license in Tennessee (or eligibility for licensure)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Previous experience in school, pediatric, or community health nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
- Flexible, organized, and able to adapt to diverse situations and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessments, medication administration, and emergency response
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support students’ health plans
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with policies
- Deliver health education to staff and students as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and district regulations regarding healthcare provision
