Registered Nurse School Setting in Shakopee, MN

Step into the health office each Tuesday from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm, where you’ll make a difference in the lives of middle school students. If you’re interested in broadening your impact, there is potential to add one or two additional days per week as needs arise.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license required.
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
• Ability to assess and respond effectively to student health needs.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and staff.
• Adaptable, compassionate, and able to handle a variety of clinical situations while maintaining professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency care to students during the school day.
• Administer medications and perform required nursing procedures.
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Advise students and staff on health and safety practices.
• Support the overall well-being of the middle school community through proactive health promotion and education.
