• Strong expertise in tracheostomy and ventilator care for 1:1 nursing needs
• Ability to provide compassionate, dignified, and confidential care in accordance with school policies
• Excellent collaboration skills to work within interdisciplinary teams, supporting both educational and healthcare goals
• Strong documentation and communication skills to engage effectively with families and school staff

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive 1:1 medical care for a designated student with tracheostomy and ventilator needs throughout the school day
• Monitor vital signs, manage medical equipment, and respond to emergencies as necessary
• Maintain detailed records of care and coordinate with school healthcare personnel
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where the student can focus on learning
• Support the student’s educational goals by facilitating participation in classroom activities
• Liaise between educators, the student’s family, and external providers to ensure continuity of care
