Key Requirements:

• Active RN license in Arkansas (or compact state)
• Nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong leadership abilities to oversee and support Medical Assistants stationed at each school
• Capacity to float between three school sites as needed
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, to strengthen connections with all members of the school community

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care, assessment, and intervention for students from K-12th grade
• Supervise and mentor three Medical Assistants—one per school—ensuring quality care and streamlined communication
• Respond to daily health needs, manage chronic conditions, administer medications and first aid, and collaborate with educational staff on care plans
• Document and maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and district regulations
• Educate students, families, and school staff on relevant health topics and wellness initiatives
