Licensed Certified Registered Nurse School Setting - Simpsonville, SC

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Registered Nurse supporting high school students in the Anderson, SC area from February 19th through May 21st. Make a direct impact as a classroom nurse working closely with two students—one ambulatory and one who uses a wheelchair—by providing essential care within a nurturing educational environment.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Current, valid RN license
• Certification as a school nurse is a plus
• Experience working with high school-age children or adolescents
• Comfortable supporting students with diverse abilities
• Previous experience with g-tube feedings preferred
• Ventilator care experience preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate nursing support to assigned students during classroom hours
• Assist with daily health management and routine tasks, ensuring both safety and comfort
• Implement g-tube and/or ventilator care plans if applicable
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff to facilitate an accessible and supportive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with school protocols
• Respond promptly to health concerns or emergencies, providing first aid and coordinating with caregivers as needed
