Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license is required
• Certification in school or pediatric nursing preferred
• Prior experience working in a school or with adolescents is an asset
• G-tube care experience is highly preferred
• Ventilator experience is also preferred, though not mandatory
• Strong communication skills with students, teachers, and families
• Compassionate, attentive, and adaptable approach to student care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated nursing care to two high school students—one who uses a wheelchair and one who does not
• Administer medications, manage G-tube feeds, and perform student health assessments
• Monitor and respond to any medical emergencies, following care protocols
• Support students’ learning by collaborating with classroom staff and ensuring all health needs are met during the school day
• Maintain accurate health documentation and communicate updates to relevant parties
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment where students feel supported and empowered
