We’re seeking a qualified RN to serve as a substitute nurse, supporting students ranging in age from 3 to 22 years old within a school setting. Key Qualifications:

• Current and active RN certification/licensure required
• Experience in school nursing or with pediatric/ adolescent populations preferred
• Comfortable working with children and young adults across a wide age spectrum
• Ability to travel between school locations as needed
• Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working varied schedules based on student and campus needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students with routine and emergency health needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and first aid as necessary
• Implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics, fostering a safe and healthy school environment
• Respond promptly to any medical incidents, providing professional judgment and support

Role Details and Flexibility:

• Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year, starting ASAP and concluding June 11, 2027
• Part-time schedule, 25 hours guaranteed weekly
• Availability needed from 6am to 4pm (hours may change based on assignment and operational requirements)
