Registered Nurse School Setting - South Holland, IL

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Illinois
• Current Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
• Experience or interest in school-based nursing
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Familiarity with creating and maintaining student health records
• Commitment to student advocacy and safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students as needed
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
• Manage and administer daily and emergency medications
• Respond to medical emergencies and support crisis response protocols
• Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance checks
• Serve as a health resource for students, parents, and staff
• Maintain accurate health documentation and reports in accordance with district policies
• Educate the school community on wellness topics and safety practices
