A school-based registered nurse (RN) is needed to provide healthcare support within a K-12 educational environment located in South River, NJ. This contract position spans the full school year (NSY), offering a dynamic opportunity to support student health and well-being during the academic session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments.
- Manage and document health records in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with healthcare providers and families as necessary.
- Promote health education and wellness initiatives among students and staff.
- Collaborate with school personnel to support individualized health plans and accommodate students with chronic conditions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid RN license.
