Registered Nurse School Setting - Spokane, WA

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
• Strong assessment, triage, and care planning skills
• Confident communicator who collaborates effectively with teachers, parents, and diverse student populations
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy standards

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid and medical care to students as needed
• Manage student health plans, including chronic condition monitoring (diabetes, asthma, allergies, etc.)
• Dispense medications and maintain accurate records
• Conduct health screenings and assist with immunization compliance
• Educate students, staff, and families on health promotion and disease prevention
• Serve as a health resource and advocate within the school community
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies
