Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Previous experience providing care in a school, pediatric, or similar setting is highly desirable
• Competence in catheterization procedures, adhering to best practices and confidentiality
• Excellent communication with students, families, and school staff
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to maintain student comfort and dignity

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide scheduled catheterization services for a high school student each school day, ensuring adherence to medical protocols
• Collaborate closely with school teams, including an instructional aid present for academic support
• Maintain clear and confidential documentation of nursing services provided
• Communicate effectively with school administrators and parents as needed regarding student health needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and reassuring environment for the student’s daily learning experience
