1:1 Care 5th Grade School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Stoneham, Massachusetts

Your expertise will allow students from 1st through 5th grade, as well as 9th and 10th grade, to safely participate in classroom activities while you monitor their well-being and administer required care. You’ll build impactful relationships with students, educators, and families—becoming a trusted resource for health and safety in the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN licensure in Massachusetts
• Prior experience with pediatric and/or school nursing, preferably in 1:1 care
• Confidence in supporting students from elementary through high school levels
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Flexible, compassionate, and able to adapt to changing needs throughout the school day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care for assigned student(s), including administering medication and monitoring health status
• Document observations and interventions with accuracy and timeliness
• Provide health education to support classroom safety and wellness
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies
• Liaise with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate safe, inclusive participation in all school activities
