Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in a pediatric setting
• Knowledge of managing chronic health conditions, medication administration, and emergency response
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care for students attending the ESY program, including first aid, medication administration, and managing health plans
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies or health concerns within the school environment
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support students’ healthcare needs and compliance with care plans
• Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and communication with necessary parties
• Promote a healthy school environment through education, support, and preventative care
