Qualifications & Experience:
- Current LPN, LVN, or RN license in New Hampshire (active and in good standing)
- Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric settings highly valued
- Skilled in G-tube and pump feeding administration and monitoring
- Ability to monitor vital signs, including heart rate and oxygen saturation
- Proficient in oral and nasal suction techniques, as well as wound care
- Comfortable providing one-on-one care and detailed documentation
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor a student's health status throughout the designated school hours
- Administer and monitor delay bolus and residual feedings via G-tube and pump
- Frequently check and record vital signs, including heart rate and oxygen saturation
- Perform oral and nasal suctioning and provide wound care as needed
- Collaborate with school staff and maintain clear, accurate records of care delivered
- Respond promptly to changes in the student’s medical status, delivering rapid interventions if necessary
