Virtual School RN - Maryland

A full-time Registered Nurse is needed to provide specialized support for high school students with complex medical needs during the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves accompanying a student who requires nursing care on the bus to and from home and school, as well as supporting another student with nursing needs during the school day. The position is based in Easton, MD, and requires approximately 37 hours per week.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and supervision to students requiring full-time nursing support.
• Accompany a student on the bus between home and school, ensuring safety and medical monitoring throughout the transportation.
• Deliver in-school nursing support to a second student with medical needs.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate health documentation and comply with relevant nursing standards and protocols.

Qualifications and experience:

• Current and valid Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in pediatric nursing, school nursing, or telehealth nursing preferred.
• Ability to provide care in diverse settings, including during transportation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work full time with approximately 37 hours per week.
