School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Temecula, California

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in California required
• Experience or familiarity with school nursing settings preferred
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to clear a criminal background check and a TB risk assessment within 60 days of start date
• Willingness to serve as a designated mandated child abuse reporter, in alignment with California legal requirements

Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations in the school health office
• Administer and document medications and treatments to students per physician orders
• Conduct and record results for state-required hearing and vision screenings at appropriate grade levels
• Monitor student health concerns and respond to medical needs as they arise
• Collaborate closely with school administrators, staff, and parents to promote a healthy learning environment
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and district guidelines
