School Registered Nurse (RN) in Turner, ME

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Maine
• Previous pediatric clinical experience, particularly in a school setting
• Proven skills and confidence in tracheostomy care and airway management
• Experience providing one-to-one nursing support preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Compassionate approach and a commitment to student-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care to a kindergarten student throughout the school day
• Manage tracheostomy care, including suctioning, monitoring, and responding to emergencies
• Maintain accurate health documentation and follow care plans
• Advocate for the student's health needs and well-being in collaboration with school staff
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment and assist in other duties as assigned
