Registered Nurse School Setting - Turner, ME

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Skilled in tracheostomy (trach) care and management
• Ability to work independently and provide compassionate, attentive care to a single student
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care for a kindergarten student, including all aspects of trach care throughout the school day
• Monitor student’s health status and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies
• Support safe participation in classroom and school activities
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation and communicate any relevant updates to the student’s care team
