Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting the health and wellbeing of students as a school nurse covering a maternity leave. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, from 7:35 am to 3:20 pm, and begins in December or January. You'll work within a nurturing environment serving approximately 100 students, playing a key role in their daily care and health education.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with school staff and families to manage student health plans, ensure a safe and orderly clinic, and provide essential care throughout the school day. Your experience as a Registered Nurse in a school setting will make a meaningful impact on the student community.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Experience with school nursing preferred
• Strong assessment and triage skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with administrators and educators
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Commitment to confidentiality and student advocacy

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as prescribed
• Maintain thorough health records in compliance with state and school regulations
