Registered Nurse School Setting - Van Nuys, CA

As the on-site RN, you'll team up with educators and families to ensure students' well-being, safety, and inclusion during educational programs extending into the summer.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in California, with valid Credentialed School Nurse certification
• Experience in school nursing, pediatric, or community health settings preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Comfortable administering medications, care plans, and emergency responses for medically complex students
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach across multi-site teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medically complex students during Extended School Year (ESY) sessions at a designated site
• Provide routine health support and intervention to general education students participating in programs at multiple locations
• Manage and update individualized health plans, medication administration, and emergency response protocols
• Serve as a health resource, promoting a safe and supportive school environment
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with California school health regulations

Scheduled Program Dates:

• ESY (Extended School Year): June 11, June 26, June 29, July 6, July 7, July 13, July 14; 7am-2pm
• General Education: July 20, July 24, July 27, July 29; 7am-2pm
