School RN in Victorville, CA

A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to support students in a K-12 school setting in Oro Grande, CA. This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, with a potential extension for the extended school year and a high possibility of renewal. The RN will work approximately 37.5 hours per week, primarily onsite.

This role focuses on providing nursing care to students, including those receiving virtual therapy from contracted providers. The RN will serve as an essential resource within the school to support these students directly in the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to students in accordance with school health policies
• Collaborate with virtual therapy contractors to assist students on site during their sessions
• Manage student health records and communicate effectively with educational and healthcare teams
• Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed
• Monitor and assist students with individual health plans and medical needs

Desired Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in California, preferably credentialed for school nursing or case management
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care is highly valued
• Ability to work independently and integrate with education and therapy teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
