Registered Nurse School Setting - Vista, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered California RN license required
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in a pediatric/education setting is highly valued
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and respond effectively to the diverse needs of K-12 students

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing services and first aid for students and staff on campus
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized health care plans for students with chronic or acute conditions
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and communicate with families, physicians, and staff as needed
• Maintain accurate health records in accordance with privacy standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals and student safety
• Deliver health education and preventive care guidance
