School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Wallingford, Connecticut

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Active RN license in Connecticut (CT)
• Prior experience working in a school or with student health preferred
• Proficient in the care and management of G-tubes
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and other health professionals
• Reliable, organized, and able to maintain accurate medical documentation

Core responsibilities:

• Provide routine and emergency nursing care to middle school students on campus
• Administer G-tube feedings and monitor students requiring specialized medical attention
• Conduct health assessments and respond to student injuries or illness as needed
• Serve as a resource for health education and effective communication among staff and families
• Maintain clear, confidential health records and adhere to protocols
