School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Walpole, New Hampshire

Step into a fulfilling role supporting students' well-being as a School RN in a contract position for the remainder of the school year, with the potential to continue longer term. In this dynamic setting, you’ll work an 8-hour shift from 7 AM to 2:30 PM, providing essential care and guidance to students and staff as part of a welcoming and collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities will focus on delivering outstanding general nursing care. You’ll manage daily health concerns, respond to emergencies, and serve as a health resource for students, parents, and faculty. Your attention to detail and compassion will contribute to a safe, supportive atmosphere where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical skills, with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with students, families, and staff
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain accurate health records
• Experience with general nursing duties including first aid, medication administration, and health screenings

What You’ll Do:

• Administer first aid and daily medication as needed
• Document health incidents and maintain confidential records
• Monitor and support students with chronic conditions or acute health needs
• Educate students and staff on health practices and wellness
• Coordinate with parents, school administration, and outside providers as appropriate

This contract position runs through mid-June 2027, with opportunities for an extended relationship based on performance and future needs.
