Key Requirements:
- Hold a current RN license or be a Certified School Nurse (CSN)
- Previous experience in a school environment or pediatric setting preferred
- Skilled at medication administration and health assessments
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with students and staff
- Ability to maintain accurate health records and ensure strict confidentiality
- CPR and First Aid certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day health services for students feeling unwell or requiring medical attention
- Process health referrals and manage urgent care situations with confidence
- Administer prescribed medications following school policies and healthcare regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming nurse’s office
- Collaborate with school staff to support students’ individual health needs
- Monitor and report communicable diseases or health concerns as needed
- Offer health education and guidance for students, families, and staff
