School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Warwick, Rhode Island

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license and up-to-date credentials
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Excellent communication and observational skills
• Ability to adapt between 1:1 nursing, general health office duties, and mobile support as needed
• Ready to accompany students on bus rides, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical patient care

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 clinical support to students with specific health needs
• Deliver general health services, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions
• Conduct health screenings and keep accurate medical records
• Foster a healthy, safe learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students’ health and educational success
• Participate in school activities and bus rides as a floating nurse, offering consistent care across settings
