Registered Nurse School Setting in Washington, DC

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Connecticut RN license required
• Prior experience in schools, with a preference for background in Special Education
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to students, including medication administration, emergency response, and routine health checks
• Support students with special needs and partner with Special Education teams to deliver care plans
• Promote health education and wellness throughout the school community
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
• Respond promptly to any health-related concerns during the school day

Position Details:

• Part-time, 20-25 hours per week
• Flexible caseload options: early childhood to 8th grade
• Role is contracted for the summer, with the possibility of extension
