**Registered Nurse (RN) – ESY Program | Washington, DC**

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support students in an Extended School Year (ESY) program in Washington, DC, with the opportunity to continue into the Normal School Year (NSY).

### Position Details

* **Schedule:** July 18 – August 17 (ESY)
* **Potential Extension:** Opportunity for continued placement during NSY
* **Hours:**

* Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
* Fridays (Field Trips): 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

### Responsibilities

* Provide direct nursing care and health support to medically fragile students
* Assist with diabetes management and seizure monitoring/intervention
* Support students requiring wheelchair assistance and mobility support
* Perform diapering/changing and assist with activities of daily living as needed
* Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student safety and well-being during classroom activities and community field trips

### Requirements

* Active RN license in Washington, DC
* Experience working with pediatric or medically fragile populations preferred
* Comfortable supporting students with complex medical and behavioral needs
* CPR/BLS certification required
* Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently in a school setting

Compensation for this position ranges from $36.00 to $56.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
