This part-time position—ranging from 20 to 25 hours per week—offers flexibility during the summer months, with a potential for extension. You’ll have the chance to work with a variety of caseloads, from early childhood through 8th grade, and contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut RN license (required)
- School nursing experience, ideally supporting special education populations
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care and health education to students
- Support individual student health needs in accordance with IEP or 504 plans
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and manage chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate with families as necessary
- Foster positive relationships in a multidisciplinary team
