Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN or LPN/LVN license in the state of assignment
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Ability to respond swiftly to emergencies and provide immediate care
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to upholding student confidentiality and supporting diverse populations
• Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans (IHPs), medication administration, and CDC guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including first aid, chronic condition management, and acute illness response
• Oversee medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with families, educators, and community health partners to support student health
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records in compliance with regulations
• Take charge during health emergencies, implement care protocols, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Participate in student health screenings, immunization compliance, and health education initiatives
