School Registered Nurse | Washington, Pennsylvania

Make an impact in a school setting by providing essential nursing support to an elementary student. This full-time contract position involves accompanying the student during bus or van rides and delivering high-quality care throughout the school day. You’ll utilize your clinical expertise to administer PRN (as needed) medications, monitor health needs, and support a positive, nurturing environment.

Skills & Experience Sought:

• Active LPN or RN license required
• School-based nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Strong ability to respond calmly and quickly in a variety of situations
• Excellent communication with students, school staff, and families
• Commitment to student safety and confidentiality
• Capability to adapt to changing schedules as you accompany the student during transportation

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide care to an elementary student on school campus and during transportation times
• Administer medications on a PRN basis per physician orders and parent instructions
• Monitor and document health status, medication effects, and interventions
• Collaborate with school staff and families to maintain a safe care plan
• Anticipate and manage health needs proactively throughout the school day
• Provide compassionate support and advocacy for the student’s wellbeing
