Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential mandatory
- Experience in a school setting highly valued
- Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and support other nursing professionals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret medical documentation for educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide guidance to dedicated RNs in four separate school buildings
- Serve as a resource and support for building-based nursing staff
- Attend and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings
- Conduct thorough medical reviews for student IEPs
- Complete initial and re-evaluation assessments as needed (no ongoing student caseload)
- Ensure compliance with school health requirements and best practices
