Registered Nurse School Setting in West Henrietta, NY

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active RN license in the State of New York (NYS)
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in a pediatric setting preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Commitment to promoting student health, wellness, and confidentiality
• Ability to respond to health emergencies and administer medications as needed
• Collaborative spirit for working with teachers, staff, families, and students

Role Responsibilities:

• Delivering daily nursing care and first aid to students and staff
• Monitoring and supporting students with chronic health conditions or special needs
• Administering prescribed medications and maintaining medical documentation
• Serving as a resource for health education and wellness initiatives
• Assisting with health screenings and immunization tracking
• Upholding school health protocols and safety standards
